Ethernet wiring with CAT5 and 6
CAT 5/6 cable is a twisted 4 pair wire that carries a signal for data, telephone, HDMI, and video. Also know as RJ45, 10/100/1000BASE-T, and Ethernet. CAT5/6 is limited to 100 meters in length from device to device. The main advantage CAT6 has over CAT5, is more twists per foot to suppress cross talk, system noise and is rated for gigabit transmission speeds. More than likely your internal network is wired with CAT5. Call us to see how we can improve or create you a new network.
